We adopted our Lady Abigail September 2020 and Holly Joy from Mary's Cocker Haven on January 2021. Throughout the entire adoption process, we had complete confidence in Mary's professionalism as a breeder. Because she ensures the puppies are socialized with her family prior to adoption, both of our puppies have happy, merry, confident dispositions with people and dogs. While we waited to adopt each puppy, she kindly sent us updated photos and videos as they grew. She even allowed us to see our puppies through FaceTime. We also appreciate the adoption gift bags and notebooks she provided on each adoption day. Abigail and Holly are playful, bright and healthy. What a delight her puppies have been to our family! We can’t say enough good things about you. Blue, our five year old dapple has been the best thing in our lives. He’s handsome, healthy, smart and amazing in every way. He’s so unique that people actually stop us on the street to ask about him and take pictures. During the COVID pandemic we decided we wanted another addition to our pack. Once again you came through and found us the perfect addition to our family. Shelby is beautiful, intelligent, affectionate and sweet as can be! Bella is the most delightful pet I could have hoped for - She is healthy, sweet, affectionate, and intelligent. She loves to eat her food in bed and play with our German shepherd, Rocco. She takes naps with me and makes the cutest grunts when you move! We have taken her everywhere with us and she loves to go on our camping trips. She defiantly fits in with our family great! On September 11, 2018 I adopted my first Cocker Spaniel from Mary Dugan at Mary’s Cocker Haven. From flying to Colorado, meeting Mary in person to traveling on a plane home to Wisconsin, my little Coco Chanel has been absolutely perfect in every way an amazing dog should be.
Coco has adapted extremely well and has an amazing disposition and a glorious independence that is truly important for a healthy and happy dog. From day one she has not developed any anxious tendencies and puts herself to bed every night. She is happy, well rounded and loves to be around everyone. Always full of life, she glides around the room being the show stopper and gathers many crowds where ever she goes.
